We have an opportunity for a Tax and Finance Analyst to join our small and friendly Finance Team at our Accolade Park site in Bristol which employs over 500 people. Our Bristol site houses the largest bottling plant in the Northern Hemisphere bottling up to 1 million bottles of wine per day.

In this role
Reporting to our Tax and Finance Accountant you will assist in the analysis and preparation of calculations for tax and statutory compliance requirements for the UK consolidated group including foreign subsidiaries and branches. You’ll also prepare information for bank facility reporting and updating daily cash positions.
You will be part of a small but lively team who support each other and work closely together so expect to make new friends. Work swapping is encouraged to ensure everyone has variety in their role. This role provides a good foundation for someone wishing to progress their career in a finance function.
You’ll prepare detailed analyses for all tax returns and month end / year end tax packs and assist with any ad hoc queries and projects as required. Your key responsibilities include:
- Performing first review of all tax returns prepared by external advisors for foreign subsidiaries and branches
- Updating daily cash balance for short term cash flow forecast
- Preparing bank reconciliations
- Assisting the Tax and Finance Accountant with Bank monthly reporting and audit
- Assist in statutory reporting where necessary
About you
It’s important that you have experience of working in a finance function, ideally with a degree in a relevant subject or part qualified and have excellent numerical and analytic skills. You’ll be great at prioritising your own work load and like working to deadlines ensuring accuracy in everything you do. You’ll enjoy administrative tasks and be confident using Excel with good written and communication skills.
