In this role
This role will be a fixed term contract until May 2018
- To play a key role within the complete Order to cash process as a Credit controller specialist.
- To ensure all payments are received to agreed terms.
- Cash collection and management of Aged debt, Claims, Held orders and Credit Risk
- Contribute to month end processes,
Key tasks will include
Primary
- Contribute to the development of a world class Credit Control operation within Accolade Wines driving down Aged debt and improving overall DSO figures.
- To ensure that all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and all queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently
- Support transaction coordination to ensure claims and deductions are kept within department KPI and Target figures
- To manage and ensure all customer outstanding debts are monitored and collected in accordance with authorised payment terms and targets
- To ensure that all payments are allocated accurately in accordance with the remittance advice note on a daily basis
- To ensure that credit limits are adhered to at all times and to ensure that credit limit reviews are conducted on a continuous basis
- To monitor orders, ensuring credit status is strictly adhered to, advising the AR Manager when customers should be placed on ‘stop’
- To visit customers with a view to resolving problems encountered in trading relationships if necessary
- To ensure that the maintenance of the sales ledger and customer master file are accurate at all times
- Support and contribute to the process of continuous improvement.
- Ensure that processes comply with Approved Business Processes, Credit Policy and Corporate Governance requirements.
- Encourage and organise Account Handler visits to effect excellent communication.
- Produce Aged Debt and Deductions reports
Secondary
- Build knowledge of OTC process
- Develop understanding of promotions and claims process to a standard to cover role when required.
- Develop understanding of customer service roles to a standard to be able to support and assist as necessary.

Ideally you will have this experience..
- Experience in Credit Control in FMCG Environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with change management and business process improvement.
- Proven communication skills.
- Intermediate level Excel
- ERP system experience
