The Fine Wine team is seeking to recruit a Private Account Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to Martyn Rolph, Private Account Sales Manager, the role will focus on Cellar Plan, with the management of approximately 500 active high-end and private customer accounts, assisting them in building balanced and high quality cellars specific to their needs. The individual in the role will be accountable for maximising sales potential and increased GP growth through relationship building. The highest levels of customer service and authoritative wine knowledge will also be required.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate exceptional sales skills (influence, persuasion, passion, drive and determination) and strong commercial acumen. They should also have previous experience within a sales environment and management of private accounts. Excellent customer service skills are essential, with the proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
The candidate must be proactive, with a passion for wine, which can be translated into sales opportunities, to achieve (and exceed) the sales and profits targets agreed, whilst upholding the company’s core values. The role will be based in Basingstoke and will require a willingness to travel between our Basingstoke and London premises.
Candidates will need to be computer literate and competent users of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and have the ability to work within deadlines and to organise their daily workload effectively. Strong wine knowledge is essential, preferably to WSET Diploma level.
