In this role

You will ensure the sector defined volume and profitability targets are achieved. You will represent sector specific requirements and manage these in line with the Commercial Plan. You will ensure sector specific dynamics are incorporated in the Commercial Plan & LE Process. You will select, lead and manage team members and actively develop them as individuals & as a team.

Key tasks will include

  • Develop and maintain commercial contact with defined senior key contacts alongside GM.
  • Identify and exploit all sales opportunities relevant to the sector including .com etc.
  • Input into the Commercial Plan and monitor & manage the channel volume, budget and profitability & sustainability of the business over agreed timeframe.
  • Work to improve cash flow across sector in conjunction with Finance colleagues.
  • Communicate and represent trends within the channel to all internal functions.
  • Set individual and team objectives in line with organizational and divisional targets & priorities.
  • Identify development needs of team members and ensure appropriate & timely mechanisms are in place to satisfy these needs. Coach and continuously review providing feedback as appropriate
  • Appraise bi-annually.

Ideally you will have this experience..

  • 5-7 years commercial sales or commercial buying experience.
  • Prior experience of managing team or commercial leadership experience
  • Proven track record of delivering against stretching targets.
