Cellar Door Duty Manager (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Main Responsibilities:
  • Front of House management of guests and staff.
  • Being an authority on process, health, and safety, using the till and selling memberships, events, and bottles. 
  • Leading Cellar Door staff in achieving sales and performance targets.
  • Welcoming guests and being an exemplar of outstanding customer service.
  • Managing Tour Hosts and Support Staff to ensure efficient teamwork and communication to deliver a top-quality guest experience.
  • Working closely with the Team Manager, Administrator, and Nest management to deliver Gusbourne’s events programme.
  •  Liaising with all teams across the business and external contacts as required. 
  • Applying all health and safety and environmental practices.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience in the retail, tourism, or hospitality sectors.
  • A proven track record of providing guests with exceptional service.
  • Experience in managing time and issues single-handedly while maintaining the utmost professionalism.
  • A proven ability to work independently using initiative.

Schedule:

·        09.00-17.00 (40 hrs per week)

·        Five days per week (to include at least one weekend day)

Salary: £24,000 to £27,000 dependent on experience
