This grand Hotel set on the picturesque North Yorkshire coastline is looking for an experienced and hardworking Head Chef to join and help lead this talented kitchen brigade.
It is withinthe hotels informal restaurant and lounge that a passionate and competant Head Chef is required to build upon and maintain the high standards for guests and customers. This restaurant servessimpletraditional British and Yorkshire classic dishes to high standards,using fresh seasonal local produce.
The duties of this Head Chef position are:
- Working effectively as part of the kitchen brigade
- Training, motivatingand monitoring of staff
- Monitoring stock
- Supporting daily operations
As Head Chef you must have previous relevant experience and must be capable of preparing food to a very high/rosette standard. As Head Chef of a small brigade, it is essential that your communication skills are excellent, and you have strong commitment with dedication to your career.
Candidates for this position must have experience in a minimum 1AA Rosette establishment. You must also have the flare and creativity, and be able to demonstrate an ability to motivate and lead a team. You must have a real passion for quality and take pride in your work.
