The Rubens at the Palace Hotel is looking for a Commis Pastry Chef, to join our exciting and productive brigade at the Rubens at the Palace Hotel.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the day to day running of the pastry section
• Ensuring that all kitchen stations are kept clean, safe and hygienic at all times

The ideal candidate should:

• Have previous experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star Hotel or fine dining restaurant
• Have good Health and Safety and Food Hygiene awareness
• Have good knowledge of using a wide range of kitchen equipment
• Be passionate about pastry
• Communicate effectively in English
• Be positive, proactive and have a flexible attitude
